How to use
The SMART Commander™ is sized to fit your arm, allowing you to move around the scene and providing you with a solid surface to write on. The waterproof control boards can be written on with a sharpie marker, providing a durable record of actions on scene that can be cleaned post incident with alcohol based cleaner or wipes.
Inside the SMART Commander™ are map and plan holders, allowing you to take your incident response plan to the scene. The availability of relevant documents and plans provides the most effective way to direct resources.
Storage pockets allow you to take vital equipment to the incident.

Incident Control Boards
Sold as standard with the SMART Commander™ the Incident Control Boards™ allow a supervisor to organise their thoughts and actions into a logical format.
Recording casualties on scene, hospitals you are evacuating to, planning for potential hazards and recording which crews you have assigned to which sectors on the incident. The SMART Incident Control Boards™ allow the supervisor to download information they would otherwise have to keep in their head.
These control boards promote good information handover and clear decision making.
WMD Control Boards
The SMART WMD Control Boards™ have been designed by well-respected experts from their real experience of HAZMAT Incident response.
These additional control boards simply attach to the SMART Commander™ and will enhance the command and control at the scene. Helping you with the critical tasks of scene management these panels will ultimately improve decision making on the ground.
Recording how many casualties and crews you have in each sector of the incident allows command and control of the incident.
Hospital Control Boards
The SMART Hospital Boards™ have been designed to work with the HEICS system, to enhance medical disaster preparedness and response. The Smart Hospital Boards allow the SMART Commander™ to work in the hospital setting and improve accountability for the cost recovery.

Fire Ground Control Boards
